eBay and the Plan

ilyAIMY is asking their fans to help "sponsor" individual tracks on their New Studio Album. Many of the songs on the NSA are things that fans have been clamouring for for years, and a number are brand new tracks that have never seen tape.

By placing these tracks up for bidding on eBay, we're following in the footsteps of its more metaphoric sales - selling your grandfather's ghost to soothe your kid; bidding on advertisement space with a single mom as she travels across the country; the ourtrageous devil heads and Mother Marys found on turtles and toast. We are allowing fans to "own" and to publicly display their support for a song on the NSA.

By bidding on a track, not only do you have the

opportunity to place your name in the CD jacket as the sponsor of the song, but winning bids will also win other ilyAIMY merchandise, including (of course) an advance copy of the album. Higher winning bids will recieve t-shirts and artwork.
