Well, ok – I’ve got to be honest. I was a little bit disappointed that a reunion of so many incredible musicians from my collegiate past occurred in the presence of absolutely know one I knew. There was no-one that I could turn to and say “see! they WERE great” – but on the other hand, another great fear of mine – the idea that I’m jaded by all the music that I’m hearing – well, Dan Blakeslee STILL gives me chills down my spine – he breaks my heart still.
