We were so grateful that the College Park Arts Exchange reached out to Mark H Taiko about having a couple of performances last year, and then Mark invited US!
They were close to our ONLY performances through (what I hope was) the height of the pandemic, and seeing people cooperate with one another so that we CAN have nice things was a huge point of optimism for me.
Well – 2021 has arrived and with it the College Park Arts Exchange returns with the April Porch Play! “Last year’s outdoor performances were a highlight during a difficult year. Spring is here! and as the world begins to open up, CPAE will continue offering safe, distanced live performances in outdoor settings.” We’ll be webcasting on ilyAIMY’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitch channels as WELL as Mark H Rooney’s – so tune in for thunderous Japanese drumming, thunderous ilyAIMY, a set from Rowan Corbett and OF COURSE some ilyTaiko crossover because thunder must merge into ROAR. It’s free to tune in (or even attend – details below) but donations are appreciated at paypal.me/ilyaimy or venmo @ilytips – all proceeds will be divided amongst the performers.
