This weekend suddenly got really complicated. In a good way. In a fine way. But sometimes you just don’t associate the Saturday with the Sunday. And sometimes emails vanish. And sometimes Life gets on top of you. And grabs you by the hair. And plants a flag in your forehead. And yodels fiercely.

Yeah… Life is like a mountain-climbing yodeling Yeti joyously claiming ownership over the top of my skull. All you can do is ride it out, you know?*

Tonight’s Live from the Lair is with Sharif and Joey and that’s SORT of like being ridden by a Yeti. And then this weekend there’s THREE different shows, Friday down in Fairfax, Saturday in Rockville with Rowan Corbett, and Sunday at high noon a rare rob appearance partnered with the elegant fingers of Jon Patton of Midway Fair.

And I have it on good authority that the rest of him will be there too!

I've gotten into a terrible habit. A non-habit. A habit of not saving. Damn your eyes, some of my finest work floats out into the ether and is lost forever.

Again, and again, and again.

I'm an incautious human.

But I try not to be incautious with my FELLOW humans.

Lots of this past week was kerfuffled when Kristen tested positive for COVID. We talked about that at the last Live from the Lair - the first I'd done solo - and we've had over two years to think about what happens when one of us tests positive and the other exhibits no symptoms and continues to test negative.

Step one. Wife gets the cat.

Sigh. Haven't seen the lower-half of my wife's face in a week and I'm tired of it. Her "line" (test) was a little fainter this morning, and mine's still negative, so I guess we're following the right course of action. But see above.

Yeti.

Yodeling.
