Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times

This week in Merlin.

Once upon a time I said I was from Baltimore, Maryland. I was misheard as saying "Voldemort, Merlin".

ilyAIMY's not doing much around town this week outside of our regular first-Thursday-o'-the-month gig at Firestone's in Frederick, MD, so we'll just have to get up to some other mischief... like open mics at the Lulu's Fate show in Takoma Park this weekend!

Mischief Part 3 : Miscellaneous Mischief.

We never make a big deal about our first-Thursday-o'-the-month gig at Firestone's because it's kind of a weird one. A regular bar gig that starts at 10pm. It's not a good listening environment, but it IS kind of a party, and since we're not playing anyplace ELSE this week, maybe I should mention it. In passing as it were. In addition, I think we're going to sample a couple of open mics this week. Tuesday I'm going to check out Blue Sky in New Market, MD and Wednesday I think we're visiting our old friend Josiah from Tears of Mars at HIS open mic. If y'all want to storm someone ELSE'S open mic for a change... let us know! (you can always just hit "reply" to these emails).

Wandering and Wondering:

Kristen's making chili. I'm watching Knight Rider. KITT is being snooty and Michael Knight has absurd legs. But y'all knew that, right? Michael Knight didn't know what a "nightcrawler" was. But in all fairness, it IS a weird name for a worm. Should be like... nightSQUIRMER. Amiright?
