Last week I was in error. I misspoke. I was misinformed. I made a typo. I was a foo. A) Last week was NOT the only Live from the Lair for the month, Rowan Corbett has stepped forth and shall be taking Live from the Lair this week from HIS Lair, "The Dreaming". THIS Wednesday, Live on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch, 7pm ET.

And THEN we'll take a short break because of other activities, madness and craziness* - and it will be the first break in, not as I said last week "125" weeks - but (and this is "B") TWO hundred and twenty-SIX weeks. Not quite sure what tomfoolery math-rot had invaded my mind last week, but yeah - ilyAIMY's been going Live from the Lair for about 4 and a half years - and this week with Rowan will be roughly week 226**.

Be impressed.

As I obsess about numbers and playfully banter about the inevitable passage of time, the thing that's REALLY weighing on my head is that today should've been my father's 80th birthday. That means he died about 20 years ago and that's hard to think about. It's little reminders of light switches, Austin-Healeys, and how cool he'd have thought cellphones were. About the would've-been could've been conversations and the things I wish I could've asked him about. Trying to remember what he was like when I was about 19 years-old, because I'm now as old as my dad was then.

That was a long, long time ago.

*"other activities, madness and craziness" equates to: THIS Wednesday Kristen and I are going to see two of my favourite bands, Primus and Coheed & Cambria! Next Wednesday we're playing in DC and next NEXT Wednesday we're performing in Annapolis!

**This is surprisingly hard to track. I should just bloody well go and COUNT at some point, but especially at the beginning there back in 2020, we were still trying to figure out how to make it work, we tried a couple of different formats and maybe even dates. I think we've missed a week here or there, but it's all a blur. Really, I should keep better notes. Or get an intern. Yeah. An intern sounds better than keeping notes.
