Friday evening, August 23rd: It's finally upon us. If ilyAIMY makes a noise in Catonsville and no-one's there to hear it, did we really make any noise? Let's not put that theoretical to the test. Full-band ilyAIMY will be at Morsbergers Tavern on Friday night. Yeah. That's electric cello and acoustic guitar and those clackity things that Rowan plays and didgeridoo and piano and Sharif's mighty organ and drums.
I guess we better figure out what we're gonna play.
I think... yessss... a sprinkling of old and a smattering of new. Bones songs! Goes without saying! Maybe something sweet. Plenty of being salty. Some sass. An ilyGumbo, methinks.
Add to that our opening act, Rebecca Berlin Quartet!
If you don't know Rebecca from our webstreams, you otter. As a matter of fact, what with the amount of excitement she hath brewed in the local scene, small sea mammals with clever hands are probably the only critters around that HAVEN'T encountered her. And that's solely because their clever hands are generally too wet to operate their listening devices.
Work your phone in the shower and tell me I'm wrong.
We hope to see you Friday. Music's from 7-11pm and tickets are just $15. Morsbergers hath chairs for sitting and floor for dancing, and the inverse as appropriate. The pool tables will be closed, but maybe after the show Heather'll play you a game. I Love their cheesesteaks, and they serve Metallica's bourbon. All ages on the music side.
