ilyAIMY Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times

It was so very, very good to perform with Rowan last week (even for a given value of "with").

Here's some advice to those of you who hold true the knowledge that performing together online is impossible due to latency : get a didgeridoo!

But Heather doesn't play didge, and there's only so much ebow that's good for ANYONE - so we're going to go visit her. I've had a full tank of gas for about 3 months or so, so let's use some of that and hit up the ilyHouse that's got the space to socially distance!

Our Awkward Plea : ilyAIMY hath lost all their gigs. If you've got some digital currency burning holes in your digital pockets, we've got physical merch at ilyaimy.square.site and digital merch at ilyaimy.bandcamp.com - and of course we'll happily accept donations at paypal.me/ilyaimy and Venmo @ilytips.

upComing and inComing:
Wednesday Night Live from the Lair (rHK).

Wednesday Night Live from the Lair from the Deck (rHK).
Every week we get the sound a little better, the stream a little nicer. And so every week we're going to throw ourselves an extra challenge... like moving the whole thing outdoors, braving wasps and the weather in ADDITION to plague and perform in a responsibly socially-distanced format with my long-missed other half Heather Aubrey Lloyd!

Live via Facebook Live (no, you don't need an account to watch). Tune in at facebook.com/ilyaimy at 7pm ET.

Every Monday : rob's VOM (Virtual Open Mic)
Every Monday night come get it OUT in a VOM. I've been working hard to make sure that people still have the OUTLET of an open mic, and I think we're gettin' it. Dave Benham's flute, We're About 9's folk, Chuck the Madd Ox's banana hammock. Where else can these cross paths but at an open mic? Every Monday at 7pm ET on facebook and youtube @ rob's open mics!

Wandering and Wondering:

I'm rockin' out to Helmet. I won't lie. It's inspired some of the vocals on my passes on Rowan's new recordings. Oh... did I bury the lead? Rowan and I are making some new recordings. Hopefully they'll include the rest of the band as soon as time and technology allow.

Oh wait - is it "bury the lede"? Cause I just looked it up and "burying the lead" would be too easily confused with inhuming a heavy greyish metal in the earth. So "bury the lede".

I buried the lede.

Sorry for the confusion. Stop worrying about the heavy metal.

I'm gonna go listen to some more Helmet.
