Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times

Kristen's electric cellin' has gotten on the radar of the NS Design company which makes her instrument, and they've invited Kristen & ilyAIMY to participate in their Connect 2021 virtual event this week! We were asked to premier a new original video for this, so we decided to record rob's new song "unEven," which just won Gold in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest.

The video premier will happen on NS Design's YouTube channel at 12:30pm ET, Wednesday 1/13. It will also be available to watch there at any time after the premier.

Kristen will also be one of the panelists in their Electric Cellists Roundtable session at 3pm on Wednesday, chatting with other players and founder Ned Steinberger about music, instrument and Life stuff. The session will be live on their youtube and facebook.

Special shoutout to the perseverance of my friends who do the audio and video gear for the Inauguration. It's a big job EVERY time, but THIS is the first time they had to replace $160,000 worth of equipment that had been methodically shredded, stabbed, urinated and defecated on. Ya know, just in case you thought they were JUST taking selfies.

Very glad to hear you're back up and running.

Back on the positive - thanks to Iain Lee for bringing himself and over 200 other joyous raiders (this may sound bad but it's good!) into my open mic Monday night - creating an incredible night of joy as we got to play to people staying up late in all across the UK. (points to Kerri as well for guiding me through what the HELL was happening!)
