Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times |

This weekend was HARD, but Saturday night I got to run a show for FocusMusic with my friends Elena La Fulana, Jillian Matundan and Nelson Emokpae. All are great writers, musicians and people – but Nelson (aka Nelly’s Echo) has been a friend for a LONG time - and I was stunned to find the worries and hardships of the past several days (he calls it “wahala” – a Nigerian word that loosely translates to “troubles”) melting away.
By tomorrow I don't expect the world to have gotten any easier, and Wednesday morning I’m getting my second Pfizer vaccination - so who KNOWS how I’m going to feel PHYSICALLY as WELL as mentally! Nelson and I were chatting today and it seemed like a good idea to bring him into the webcast tomorrow, just to make sure I survive it! So – 5/12 – ilyAIMY Live from the Lair w Nelly’s Echo hath come to pass! We’ll have some ilyAIMY, some songs from Nelson, some more ilyAIMY, some chat. I hope it’ll leave you feeling better. I know it’ll help ME. |
