ilyAIMY Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times

This is just just a swift reminder that tomorrow night Heather and Kipyn Martin are performing for Focus Music and that you should get yer tickets

It's also a quick statement that alas Sunday's Acoustic Guitar Project showcase in Takoma Park hath been postponed due to a combination of personal and environmental factors.

See how quick that was? Almost like a COVID poke. In and out before you know it! (details below)

If you’ve got some digital currency burning holes in your digital pockets, we’ve got physical merch at ilyaimy.square.site and digital merch at ilyaimy.bandcamp.com – and of course we’ll happily accept donations at paypal.me/ilyaimy and Venmo @ilytips. We even have an Amazon wishlist covering things we use regularly or could regularly use – whether you’re thinking “gosh, they deserve a new audio interface and / or action figures and some socks!”.

Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, this show is going to have to be postponed to a later date when all give of us can be together. Looks like the weather wasn’t destined to cooperate either. We’ll hope to have a new date soon! Once a year in towns all…

Wandering and Wondering:

This morning my brain's a little foggy, mayhaps full out discombobulated. I don't normally want to write two upDates in a week, not simply because I don't want to overwhelm thy inbox, dear reader, but also because my fingertips, already worn to nubbins by an amazing week of performances (thank you to the storm-wracked plains of Red Shedman, the streets of Bethesda and most of all to the Republic of Takoma Park!) and practices (and my Lovely band, you are so patient with me) and writing new songs (it was new song night at the VOM this week - I wrote a tune about eating people, Rowan wrote about Galadriel falling to the darkness of the One Ring...) and remembering old ones (who whipped out PUSH at Live from the Lair? Thaaat'd be me)... are just tired.

So tired.

My finger nubbins wish to say little else but - we Love you and we miss you.

ttfn,

-rob
