I think we're gearing up to the Long Dark. Tuesday night's SPRING open mic w Adele McAllister is going to be decidedly WINTERY and the outside gigs may begin to test our resolution in entirely new ways. Still... as long as our fingers doth bend, we'll bend them for YOU!
That means the indoor shows are beginning to happen... and we're trying to proceed as wisely as possible. Saturday night we'll be at 7 Locks Brewing, rocking Rockville as a trio and then NEXT Saturday we plan to be at New Deal Cafe to celebrate Heather's birthday... and for those of you who are NOT ready for the in-person in-doors thing - we continue Live from the Lair every Wednesday... |

ESPECIALLY nowadays with COVID restrictions and so many outdoor shows, it's probably not a bad idea to call a venue ahead of time to make sure there are no surprises. We try to keep everything up-to-date on ilyAIMY.com - but our social media it's probably more up-to-the-second! So - with outdoor gigs petering out (where did THAT expression come from?!) we're trying to gain greater clarity on what we're facing with EVERY gig. I feel greatly that everyone should make their own decisions based on their own comfort and health and all that good stuff - but we all need to have the best information with which to proceed. ilyARMY doth prepare!
For example - Saturday night we expected to be outdoors and yup, it was cold and rainy... but we knew what we were in for - and ilyAIMY fans being a hardy breed - well, when the venue moved us inside it just meant that our friends and fans had to find spots to stash all the tents and chairs they brought.
Because y'all ARE AMAZING.
We're trying to get clarification on reservations for NEXT Saturday's show a* the New Deal Cafe since we don't want to have anyone driving out simply to be turned away at the door. There will be a limit of 42 occupants in ze room (a small, but very very good number) AND vax-card-checkin' at the door, so we want to have as much clarity about this as possible.

*I DID go back and correct this to say "at" the New Deal for a hot sec, but then realized that the typo made me read my text back in a Scottish accent which I enjoyed thoroughly. HOWEVER, after rewriting it all phonetically I decided THAT was confusing AF** and ctrl-Z'ed the Hell out of everything till I was back where I started and that made me chortle. So...
