Growing up, we'd usually visit my dad's home state of Pennsylvania at SOME POINT for the holidays. Whether it was his home town of Williamsport to visit his mom and the weird restaurant that WAS a family restaurant while he was growing up that became a seedy biker bar that we just kept going to because it was tradition, or going to ride the train with Santa in Strasburg or driving up to the top of Mount Nittany to visit my grandfather's eternally snowbound trailer, the last couple of weeks of December always meant Pennsylvania - so it seems fitting that one of our last shows of the year will be up at Miscreation Brewing, just over the line in the Keystone State.

We Love this place - and it's a fabulous place to let loose right before the new year. PLUS - they've just glommed a new kitchen! I'm not quite sure what happened - I think the bar closed early one night and then prowled the streets of Hanover, ATE an entire burger joint, and then returned to 6 Center Square before the sun came up... like... nothing ever happened....

Last night's house concert in Great Falls, VA was just awesome. Maybe I had too many cookies. It's POSSIBLE I had too much spinach dip. All-in-all I tried hard to work it off by playing my hardest, but it was a surreal night of conflicting sensation, great music, wonderful people, and something about pushing senior citizens out of airplanes via the magic of green screen... and termites going to the opera.

Yeah. T'was an interesting night!
