Huh. Had ABSOLUTLEY meant for Monday's upDates to be the LAST upDates of the year, but the owner of the Little Market Cafe texted me last night and ... well, the best-laid plans of rabbits and cabbages often fall afoul of the weather ... and would you believe it? It's warm enough to have Live music outdoors on Friday afternoon in Ellicott City, MD. AND Rowan can come!
AND tonight's webcast has gotten changed up too. Madness.

I often visualize my calendar as simply a delicious morsel being ravaged by the powers that be. The weather, COVID, children's school schedules, power outages, car's that were TOTALLY supposed to be in REVERSE - they are all angry, angry wolverines tearing and clawing at my delicious calendar, foolishly scribbled on bacon.
Seriously. I gotta get a new calendar. |

We're a remarkably resilient species with a sad, thin skin. I spend every day swinging betwixt angry, optimistic, depressed nearly out of my mind, and singing my heart out. I fear for the world and my friends and my country and myself, but cannot abandon any of the above to despair.
I'm exhausted by the negative and choose to further exhaust myself with the positive.
Back to recording. We've got something to say. And we've been saying it for a long, long, long time.
I finished transferring the Journal to Wordpress today. It's now fully-indexed, searchable, the photos are at their original resolution. There's three tweaks I need to figure out, and it's literally been years in the process and probably about five people care. But it's hugely satisfying to be done.
Minus those tweaks.
