What a whiplashy, roller coastery week it was - but it ended on a high note - and I plan to keep that going this week. Heh - perhaps that's a pun because Conor Brendan, who is joining us in the Lair this week, has such a spectacular vocal range?

Might be.

Tomorrow we drive up to Delaware again. These little outta-state day trips are hopefully leading back to touring, but in the meantime I'm really enjoying our little leg-stretches up and down I-95. Delaware treats us well - and was one of the FIRST places in the midst of COVID to provide us with an outdoor show!

Last Saturday sucked. Canceling a show is always just about the worst. The WORST. Compare that to yesterday, and what a difference 7 days makes.

Yesterday, between playing Portside Festival in Alexandria, VA (with a surprise incursion of Joey Jenkins) and then running absolutely amok at 7 Locks in Rockville - I had more fun playing music than I've had in a long, long time.

I mean... the tacos helped. The chocolate chip cookies didn't hurt. And that new beer that 7 Locks was slinging t'was a beautiful thing. 

But musically we were the very best of ourselves on stage yesterday.
