How'd July get to be so very, very much? Maybe we deserve it. Maybe June, betwixt COVID and politics, car trouble and tiny-but-obnoxious difficulties - maybe July is trying to go a leetle way towards apologizing to us. July's sidling towards me with these amazing shows saying "I swear summer ain't ALL like that... "

Come, let us show you where joy Lives. It's all up in the music. Tangled up in the rage of guitar chords and passionate outcries of... err... passion as expressed by the mighty TOOT of the didgeridoo. 

And drums. Let there be drums.

We'll start gentle (for a given value of gentle). A singer/songwriter showcase tomorrow night in Rockville, MD w myself and Annette Wasilik, Laura Tsaggaris and the closest thing I have to a nemesis : Juels Bland. We're always a strange synergy on stage because I must admit, that guy's incredible playing intimidates me, and inspires me to be better.

And we'll end BIG - doing a video shoot at Blues Alley to which you're all invited.

Oh. And two full-band shows in-between. That's a whole lotta ilySandwich.

The pandemic is with us seemingly eternally, so it doesn't hurt to call a venue ahead of time to make sure there are no surprises! I'm simply not going to get into the imagery of ilySandwiches. I regretted the concept the moment it left my fingers, and yet, not enough to go back and delete it.

On top of all of that "real world" stuff, we're of course continuing on in the virtual. Tonight's VOM is a new-song night on the all-too too-soon "invisible sickness" in which I HOPE everyone got creative enough NOT to make it about COVID (but we'll find out at 7pm ET tonight on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch) and Wednesday, though I'LL be on stage in Rockville, MD - Heather will be going Live from the Lair (ALSO at 7pm ET, ALSO on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch).

And later this month we'll even have a special Live from the Lair with The Honest Mistakes cause you can't stop the signal, even when the signal moves to Erie, PA...
