It's been an incredible summer. Great friends, incredible shows. Some semblance of optimism about the world? Some feeling like I'm winning the Fight of Life, you know?
But we haven't been traveling. A token day trip to Delaware. An overnighter in Pennsylvania to play Musikfest. We haven't gone north enough to feel like we've GONE anywhere. We need to cross MORE state lines. We need to feel we've gone NORTH... not just hopped a border.
And so we come unto you Massachusetts. Welcome us the way you do. With unmarked lanes and strange runic traffic signs. With joyous noise and silent skies and Tom Bianchi's mischievous grin.
He's up to NO good. But in the best possible way. |
