Mew. Over the last two and a half years we've very rarely missed a Live from the Lair. Once we were cut short by a storm. Twice we webcast not-so-Live from a venue. Once we re-broadcast our appearance at a sci-fi convention. Tonight, alas, we once again have to be not-so-Live and I've put together a retrospective of our first year. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed going back and putting it all together.
However - IF you happen to be in Baltimore, MD - we will be Live in and indaflesh at the Federal Hill Main Street Series from 6.30-8pm. We're hoping Hula Hoop Man will return. It's been a week of surrealAIMY and we see NO reason for this to cease!
Saturday ilyAIMY will be part of the Ellicott City Main Street Festival PLUS Rowan's other band, neo-Celtic act Tinsmith, will be making a rare appearance as well! It looks like it's going to be perfect weather, which also means it's going to be packed. So you should just come out for my open mic on Thursday night and STAY. |

SurrealAIMY indeed. We've been in sunflower fields, playing to dog parks, we watched a Lithuanian folk dance at a ceremony honouring Sharif (so this must be what going mad feels like...) and playing with a local install of Stable Diffusion.
Surreal indeed.
