I am made sad every time the weather is beautiful, because I think to myself "we could still have open mics outside in Ellicott City" - but this week it'll be 58 degrees at MOST so I guess we've made the right choice.
I have NO news - but a little bit of a SNIFF of news - about a new open mic in Takoma Park. People have been asking about said sniffs so I figure I best waft over what I know!
Coupled with House and School of Musical Traditions, Dave Eisner has asked me to host an open mic at a new place he's putting together for events, lessons, small concerts and gatherings right off Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park, MD. We're HOPING to be up and running next month, with a TENTATIVE kick off day of Tuesday, November 1st, going forward on Tuesdays from there, but that's coming up fast and they haven't finished the floors yet sooooo....
