Another quick overnight trip, crossing state lines, running for borders, borrowing others' weather... Friday night ilyAIMY's gonna get spooky in Pittsburgh and there's naught you can do about it except be there. OH - and we JUST picked up a slot at Sunday afternoon's Takoma Park Street Festival!

But first - warm feelings towards my fellow singer/songwriters! Me and Annette Wasilik and Gabrielle Zwi and Ross Martin and Emily Hall are all part of a showcase in Rockville. Hank Dietle's is both bigger and smaller than you'd expect, but that stage shall be full-to-burstin' Wednesday night as we demonstrate the strange talents gathered on the FocusMusic leadership board... whether it's Gabrielle's passion of PURPOSE or Annette's reedy intricacies, Emily Hall's shining spirit or Ross Martin's shining complexities - I'll be there to bring it back to just weird robness.

And if you're NOT in Rockville, MD - head over to Live from the Lair where Heather will be performing all by her lonesome.

I spend my LIFE thinking things are going to slow down NEXT week. Closing out September I was thinking "I'm almost done webcasting the Jewish high holidays, then things slow down!"

Beginning October I was thinking "once I'm through these weddings, then things slow down!!"

And all last week I was thinking "once Jeff Miller goes home, then things slow down!!!"

I've been wrong every time, but I swear, after we play these couple of shows, run up to Pittsburgh, play the Takoma Park Street Festival and film this Persian scholar... then things slow down!
