Whelp, the new Tuesday night open mic at School of Musical Traditions' performance space "Takoma Spark" in Takoma Park, MD is going along quite nicely. The webcasts cast, the music's musical, the lights go on and generally don't change colour sans warning. I think I Love it! This will be week three and we're welcoming a featured artist in the form of Ruthie Logsdon (of Ruthie and the Wranglers)!
Oh - and though I didn't get one done, tonight's a new song night. This month's topic was "The Cost of Nothing". You don't have to have a new song to join us, but it looks like a number of our usual New Song Suspects ARE joining us, so I'm expecting to hear some brand new tunes from Ron Smith, Kate Buckholdt, John Peiffer... there's still time to sign up for tonight's VOM at robsopenmics.ilyaimy.com!
