Happy February everyone. I hope you had a good new year and that you're anticipating getting out and playing! Physically or virtually - just make it happen. It's important for your BRAIN and your HEART and even your hidden, hardened soul. Letting it all get pent up ain't good for ANYBODY.
The VOMs have continued plummeting into the future, but we've had a couple of interruptions here and there - and tonight's one of those interruptions. Rowan and I will be practicing with Ayreheart in preparation for the ilyAIMY + Ayreheart show in Catonsville on Saturday night. IN ANY CASE - since we'll be jamming with acoustic guitars, electric cellos, Irish bones, lutes and colacsiones, I've put together a retrospective of the very, very first VOM so you don't have to be lonesome tonight. The open mics are about community - so I never want you to be lonesome!
AND then Tuesday - things are rolling as usual from the Takoma Open Spark, but I've NOT booked a feature so we can just have an open mic party for my birthday.
