Tonight we've finally caught a Wasilik. We've baited the Lair with food, and yet she's STILL gonna bring us brownies... and so mayhaps I suspect a trap of some sort, but it'll be worth it. Kristen and I adore Annette Wasilik, her charm and voice, the beautiful landscapes she paints with her music and her support of the local music community with her Local Cream songwriter series on first-Wednesdays in Rockville, MD.

Monday night's show with Girl Blue was stunning and in the aftermath I was absurdly excited about hosting her at the Takoma Spark last night. Ironically, the Takoma Spark lost power and the backup generator failed and we just HAD to cancel the night and go have sushi instead. 

There are worse things.

I'm not going to chat much more right at this moment. Life's a bit crazy. I'm going to pet the cat, set up for the Lair, and generally hang on for dear Life till Monday night. Once we're past the 3-year anniversary of VOM the world's going to be a LOT easier.
