Life's been kinda fast and furious and so I've been emailing you like Vin Diesel.

Infrequently*.

But I wanted to give you a last-minute reminder about this weekend since I recently made the Rain Gods weep (they asked me out, I showed them my ring, they said that's cool, the word "thrupple" went by, I was like "no thanks" and ... it's a whole thing) and now all the outdoor shows are in danger of a wettening.

Both of our shows this weekend are rain or shine. Westminster just moves inside if it's moist and SUNDAY'S gig in Fells Point : Bring thy slickers, ponchos and mighty galoshes in case of inclement weather and puddle stomping, That's 1pm for an almost-full-band-show in the heart of Fells Point! (actually, the weather keeps looking BETTER for this, huzzah!)

The Rain Gods are all like "it doesn't count when it's with a GOD" and "vows are TO us not FOR us" or some such. I did want to mention that if any of you taste the tears of the rain gods this weekend and want to know why it's freshwater rather than salt, it's because there are less than a dozen Ocean Deities (though they sometimes use different names and false noses) and there's several thousand river, lake and stream deities, not to mention all the little nymphs and naiads and stuff, all the anthropomorphic personification of bodies of FRESH water, and in the supernatural water cycle gods source their moisture from one another, not the actual physical bodies of water... so... I mean... look it up... that's why they have fresh water tears.

Duh.

*It's true that I don't ACTUALLY know how often Vin emails any of you, but my ASSUMPTION is that it's infrequently. I think that's funny, but if any of you are close personal friends with Vinnie (can I call him Vinnie? No? Ahem.) with Mr. Diesel I want to know the skinny on his Warhammer army because it's RUMOURED he plays Blood Angels, but I want to know if he really knows how to throw down with the most cursed gene-seed of the Adeptus Astartes.
