Wandering and Wondering:

The other night I had chupacabra tacos. From this I have the following notes:

Chrome does not recognize the word "chupacabra" and is giving me the askance red underline as I write this email. This is inexcusable and I worry that the browser's cryptozoology knowledge is sadly lacking. However : Tatzelwurm? Yowie? Mokele-Mbembe?? All of these Chrome knows. Chrome's grammatical skepticism is apparently saved exclusively for the Mexican goat sucker.

The chupacabra tacos, though delicious, included no goat.

There seem to be no chupacabra festivals, which is a shame, because I would compose an original ilyAIMY set completely for this festival in order to perform at it. The Fiesta de Chupacabras is simply a haunted house and robs do NOT do haunted houses (and haunted houses, to date, do nary a rob), and though a small, independent publishing company in Corpus Christi is campaigning for an "Official Chupacabra Awareness Month" as well as "Bring your chupacabra to work days" in local schools, they also encourage the writing of "chupaku" (haiku about chupacabras) and I've not yet come to terms with that.

Stick with the tacos man. Stick with the tacos.
