Monday is dawning fierce and bright and the weather promises storms in the afternoon. Fortunately I don't worry about the weather till Saturday, when next we play outdoors. In the meantime I can hunker and watch the skies, run songs and make noise, much to the chagrin of my cat who watches me judgingly.

Wandering and Wondering:

I THINK our passports come in the mail today. I don't want to jinx it. Shouldn't type it. But I'm hopeful.

And then what? First a trip to Ontario, which is what kicked our butts into getting the things renewed in the first place. Three years of feeling like travel's simply out of reach. And now... optimism? No - not that. A feeling like if not now, then never.

20 years ago it took all the courage in the world to just leave everything behind and wander the country in our car. Do we have the guts to even leave the CAR behind now?

Traveling without my OWN sound system sounds TERRIFYING!!!!
