Our schedule in Indiana wavered and shifted like a heat mirage. Like a fever dream. Till nothing was left the best stuff, and even that melted into something a little more delectable. 

I'd been feeling kind of guilty about asking friends and fans to come a'panting to the stone amphitheatre of Hard Truth Distilling. It's a beautiful place, a fantastic stage, but playing from 2-5 under the hard Indiana sun was asking a lot.

HOWEVER we've been moved to the headliner slot and you can be with us as the sun goes down and that caldera cools! Huzzah!

I THINK our passports come in the mail today. I don't want to jinx it. Shouldn't type it. But I'm hopeful. 

And then what? First a trip to Ontario, which is what kicked our butts into getting the things renewed in the first place. Three years of feeling like travel's simply out of reach. And now... optimism? No - not that. A feeling like if not now, then never. 

20 years ago it took all the courage in the world to just leave everything behind and wander the country in our car. Do we have the guts to even leave the CAR behind now? 

Traveling without my OWN sound system sounds TERRIFYING!!!!
