ilyAIMY Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times

Heather wrote a new song. "Are You Lost" is beautiful and it breaks my heart a little. There's a lot of joy in the sadness, hope in the bleakness. I sat and listened and then grabbed my old fretless bass, Maria, down off the wall and played along. Kristen was immediately inspired too.

Take a listen. Maybe it's something you need to hear.

Wandering and Wondering:

I've been looking at the calendar a lot. It's simply really, really easy to lose track of time without the exterior influence of events. I wrote extensively in the Journal yesterday about how I'm spending my days, but that's mostly for my own sanity. How're you spending yours? Are you ordered to shelter-in-place? Are you self-quarantined? Is it business as usual? Are you working? From home? From work? I imagine we have a pretty broad range of Lives being Lived right now.

Heather's recovered from being quite sick in time to take care of her husband as he picks up where she left off. Kristen and I reach three weeks since seeing anyone else who WASN'T self-isolating as of today.

Running events online has been an exercise in frustration, but is slowly beginning to bear fruit. There seem to be no ideal solutions, so I'm doing the best I can with the tools that exist. We're fighting the good fight from our basement and doing it as loudly as possible. That's probably a metaphor.

We Love you and We Miss you...
