ilyAIMY Dangerous Music for Dangerous Times

I still know what day it is. It's the day we were SUPPOSED to be in Phoenix, AZ. Instead of being THERE, let it be known that we are HERE and that here there will be at least one more Live from the Lair tomorrow night (write back to me and let me know if there's a preferred day and time? we want to keep doing them but Wednesday at 7pm was rather arbitrary!) - Heather Aubrey Lloyd's doing another webcast on Thursday - and on Friday we're releasing a Live album with the material from my birthday show - AND bandcamp is doing another 100%-to-the-artist day! Coincidence?

No. No it is not!

Our Awkward Plea : ilyAIMY hath lost all their gigs. If you've got some digital currency burning holes in your digital pockets, we've got physical merch at ilyaimy.square.site and digital merch at ilyaimy.bandcamp.com - and of course we'll happily accept donations at paypal.me/ilyaimy and Venmo @ilytips.

upComing and inComing:

rob Day 2020 - The Album.
Live album premiere on ilyaimy.bandcamp.com

Okay - my birthday show was magnificent. And the videos were awesome. And frankly, the AUDIO was magnificently awesomely stupendous! So we want to release it as a Live album all it's own! It'll be available on Friday May 1st as part of another artist-support day from Bandcamp! Bandcamp has announced the next couple of First Fridays will be artist-support days where they'll waive their fees and 100% of their money goes to the artists. Last time this resulted in their website crashing - so please be patient - cause even though their percentage ain't huge, every little bit helps us right now.

Every Monday : rob's VOM (Virtual Open Mic)
Every Monday night come get it OUT in a VOM. I've been working hard to make sure that people still have the OUTLET of an open mic, and I think we're gettin' it. Dave Benham's flute, We're About 9's folk, Chuck the Madd Ox's banana hammock. Where else can these cross paths but at an open mic? Every Monday at 7pm ET on facebook and youtube @ rob's open mics!

Wandering and Wondering:

We're having up days and down days - but we're hanging in there. I hope YOU'RE doing okay. Drop us a line, let us know how YOU are doing. The cat is absurdly whiny. He would like to go and eat some grass now please thank you very much please more grass NOW or lettuce would be fine but OUTSIDE GRASS IS BEST HERE IS MY HARNESS MEOW is kinda the word from Prince today.

I hope YOUR animals are being better behaved. He's also decided that Pop-Tart wrappers are the best thing ever and has unearthed one from the trash every day for the past several days. Since we're out of Pop-Tarts this REALLY means we should just take the damned trash out. Hush. Don't judge.

Oh - and in case you'd rather know about music and art over the Prince of Westowne - let it be known that Monday night's open mic was the best yet! Dave Benham built a new flute AND a new computer and was able to join us. Kosi figured out how to use her Zoom H4 as an interface and sounded great! Matt Holsen upgraded his green screen and found the right cable for his camera and now Delaware shows up beautifully against his curly locks!

This week I became INTIMATE with Parker's ceiling as we tried different rooms and different pianos, Chris came OUT of the closet but then went BACK to the closet because the acoustics were better, and last but not least we had one person perform from the cab of their truck. So... you know... the situation's evolving. Take a gander here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAhvQN8qfPg

We Love you And We Miss You.
