Last week's show by candlelight was kind of amazing. I was simply stunned by how Heather translated the kinda random idea I had into an absolutely beautiful space, and then the visual inspired the music and YOU the listener inspired MORE music and... well... it was an incredible night.

I think tomorrow's going to be pretty cool too.

I don't remember how long Rowan and I have been playing together. Around 20 years is our best guess - but like with so many Important Moments, we just didn't know it was going to be important at the time.

The difference betwixt Heather and I as viewed through computer placement...

I moved my computer. Eventually I'll move it some place else. I need to build it a home. A little nest. Someplace where it can whirr to itself happily away from my microphones. The nest I built it was slightly too small and slightly too far away. Lloyds measure. Hinkals tend to guess and eyeball. This is PROBABLY a job for a Lloyd... but I'm a Hinkal. 

There's ABSOLUTELY a temptation to feel the case is the problem, and the nest the solution, and to pull all of my computer's innards out of their case and just nail them to the inside of their nest (Lloyds use screws, Hinkals use nails) thusly increasing accessibility AND airflow... but the main purpose of the case is to keep the cat from attacking the enticing moving fans inside and ... well... no-one wants to see how THAT pans out.

But I mustn't. 

Sigh. 

Heather, can I borrow a drill and a tape measure?
