Yes, it's time to close out 2019 and start thinking about 2020. The year in which we start to finally see clearly. I hope.

Yup, the hits keep on coming and yet another fabulous venue will join the ranks of the sadly deceased. Gypsy Sally’s leaves us after this year to see a new Life as … condos… so let’s rock it while we can. We'll take the Vinyl Stage from 7.30 to 10ish, Swingin' London will be playing the big stage and then Somatic takes the stage after us! Come sit in the VW for one last ride and watch Heather and Rowan and I fit on a teeny stage in Georgetown one last time.

12/13 - rob & Kristen Feature at the Root Studio Open Mic (rK).

Kristen and rob rarely get out and play as a couple – and a married couple they be! Only time will tell whether or not Kristen sasses rob the way Heather does, but surely it’s all for the best.

Come and enjoy a featured-artist set from the Baltimore power-couple of folk (I SWEAR someone called us this once) in the midst of one of the more unique open mic nights in the area. Root Studio is a beautiful arts collective focused on the complete wellness of individuals. The open mic is free to performers, but there is a $15 admission for general admission. Doors at 6.30pm, music at 7pm.

We Love this place - and it's a fabulous place to let loose right before the new year. PLUS - they've just glommed a new kitchen! I'm not quite sure what happened - I think the bar closed early one night and then prowled the streets of Hanover, ATE an entire burger joint, and then returned to 6 Center Square before the sun came up... like... nothing ever happened....

I won't lie. I'm kind of amazed by the talent we have lined up for this month's featured artists at Teavolve - starting with Monday night's Naked Blue. They're kind of legends. Susan Rowe, Nick & Luke, Anna PS and our own Drifting Spirits (Dave Benham's Native American flute / percussion / cello band) to close out the year. Every Monday. Signup at 6, performances from 7-10pm. 1401 Aliceanna St in Baltimore!

Oof - I'm not going to write much more because I've got an audio mixing session starting in just a moment and I've been sick and NOTHING is where I want it to be! Most pertinently - the cat. WHY is the cat RIGHT THERE. He's just going to be indignant when I have to move him. He'll yowl. And then flop. And then he'll look at me. You know... the LOOK. Oh BEEST, why you hurt me so?
