Well, yeah - we're now booking Sidewalk Serenades - but that shouldn't be my headline, right? Because tonight's the end of the first year of VOMs. So THAT should be my headline? Except - you're on the ilyAIMY mailing list not the rob's Open Mics mailing list so mayhaps no. And Wednesday's Live from the Lair with Sharif Kellogg is certainly closer than the Sidewalk Serenades - so maybe THAT should be the headline? Except no - that's EVERY Wednesday (though having Sharif IS special for a given weird value of "special"...) what about the upcoming Live in-person outdoor shows? I just don't know anymore. Just keep reading cause I didn't even get to the Paul Koors Tribute with Luna, Kosi, Jillian Matundan, Joey Jenkins & more on Friday or the Music Matters Showcase on Saturday with Joe Hickey and Roscoe Beano and Kyla Tilley and ... yep... MORE!

Wandering and Wondering:

Entirely too much going on this week - but that's a good thing. I think I hit this realization last night as I came out of the basement after having worked through a check with the Paul Koors tribute... I walked into Kristen listening to Heather Aubrey Lloyd's video of a song called 'Nadia' that we put together a couple of weeks ago and was just OVERWHELMED by the beauty of all that I'm surrounded by.

This morning I woke up and dialed in the sound of a Brazilian performer in Washington DC before we added a Brazilian performer in BRAZIL - the first performer translated my instructions into Portuguese and we got a video driver updated, got the sound checked - got everything up and running and THAT was beautiful too.

We do incredible things.
