My friend Miles Spicer (MSG Acoustic Blues) brought Sadia the Star out to my open mic night as a “voice you’ve GOT TO HEAR” – an up-and-coming Washington DC artist with a beautiful voice and heartfelt, intimate lyrics. In our world today, maybe it’s good to step back into a microcosm every once in a while and remember that sometimes we are “allowed” to just sing about missing our friends, and that that is BEAUTIFUL.
