March dawns cold and uncaring, if I'm any judge of the emotional state of months, which I'm probably not. So don't mind me. It's just that we're getting electrical work done and so the house is cold, and seems uncaring. Looking at the calendar, I'm clearly projecting. Weekly Lairs with a number of incredible guest stars, weekly open mics with the same (but different) (incredible guest stars, not the same as the ones in our Lair). A trip to New York City. (NEW YORK CITY!?!?) And a couple of rock shows, including one Saturday night.
So no... that's not cold and uncaring.
No, it's just me.
(fortunately, tonight's not JUST me - Heather's coming over for Live from the Lair... and we SHOULD have power back by then!) |

We're just back from a short little run to North Carolina and back - and I'm just so very grateful for that. We've gone through strange iterations with the crowd down there, and we've known a lot of you down that way for a very, very long time. My only regret is that we couldn't open Saturday's show in Wilmington up to others, but on the other hand, there were axes - and we know some of you TOO well to hand you an axe.
We Love you and we miss you. Or at least I'D miss you. But it has now been shown that if you hand ilyAIMY an axe, you better hope it's Kristen or Heather that receives the weapon. I ... I should not be handed an axe.
I'D miss you if you were standing in front of me. Can't say too much about standing next to me. Or over there. It ain't too safe back there either... yeah... don't hand me the axe. I should stick to guitar.
