Tomorrow night we get to play with Joey. That makes it a rock show. Even when he's gentle, he rocks. He makes every moment EPIC. There are moments where I listen to him roll through segments of song that need space and he adds a cymbal, emphasizing caverns and high ceilings, or moments that need to be underlined with thunder. There's enough rhythm pouring out of my guitar. We don't need drums to keep the beat. He's our exclamation mark and our highlighter, the soundtrack to our sound. 

I'm excited for tomorrow.
